Oh My.
I really have been busy, haven't I? It's been a month since my last post and that must not be any fun for anyone who checks in on me with any sort of regularity.
I'm been eye-ball deep in editing and development work for my freelance job, so I haven't had time to sit down and write anything here. I hate that, because this blog seems to be turning into one of those "I'm sorry I haven't posted in so long" blogs. That's no good at all.
I went home a couple of weekends ago and Julia and I had a lot of fun working in the garden (shocking, I know!). We even bought a hammock for the backyard with some gift money from our wedding. It's quite large and we didn't really plan for it in the layout of the yard, but it'll work fine. We also spent a lot of time weeding our little patch of grass, which I then mowed, so it looks really nice. Or at least it looked better when I left than it did when I arrived. In addition there was a lot of other weeding and planting and moving plants around. I think we worked in the garden and yard more that weekend than we had on the weekends we'd planned to work in the garden. I was very sore for a few days afterward.
That weekend was also her brother Jordan's birthday weekend, so we had dinner with her family, which was nice.
My day job has also been good lately because I and another one of the Content guys have been coming up with a bunch of story and plot ideas for the game we're making. I liked that change of pace. Now I'm back to creating the game, which is good. It feels like it's been forever since I've worked with the tools even though it's only been a week or two. Things are going well, though.
Okay, enough for now.
