Tense
My lack of a job, despite all the freelancing, is really weighing on me. I can't even describe the feeling other than to say it's like a stone in my stomach. I know it's because I'm stressed and tense. It sucks. And there's not a quick fix. I've been looking for a good job for a while now and nothing has come together. Ugh, stress.
I know I've said it before when talking about this subject, but I feel like a total failure at the moment.
Bad day.

Buck up, Jon! Freelancing isn't all bad. I know most folks prefer the security of a steady paycheck, but I'd always rather have the freedom that working for yourself provides.
In any case, best of luck with your continued job hunt. If I can help out, just let me know. I'm rooting for you either way!
I'm sorry you're in that place (mentally) right now, Jon. I am only now (after how many years?) starting to gain a measure of stability. I know how it feels.
You'll do it, though. You'll end up employing us all one of these days. (Ummm, the economy could use it, too.)
